Harrisburg University of Science and Technology will begin it inaugural eSports season in Fall of 2018. Currently, HU has a club team that was established in the Fall of 2018 The team plans to compete at the Varsity level in League of Legends, Overwatch, Hearthstone and NBA 2k. HU is committed to building an eSports program that is second to none!
The eSports team will have its own dedicated room, equipped with state of the art PCs and gaming amenities. We have also partnered with The Whitaker Center to provide a first in the nation experience of competing on a Digital IMAX screen! We have also secured several local and national sponsors.
HU also offers Interactive Media as a BS Degree so not only do you get to play video games you can learn how to build them and have a career upon graduation!
