KANSAS CITY, MO – The National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) welcomes Ashley Jones to the position of Director of Membership Sales and Services.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Ashley Jones on a frequent basis over the last few years, as her experience, attitude and forward-thinking have propelled a number of projects,” said Michael Brooks, Executive Director. “NACE has been blessed to have a majority of our staff come from on-campus positions at our member institutions, either as coaches or directors. That experience is incredibly valuable in ensuring we continue to push the needle forward in membership value.”

Jones served as the esports head coach at Park University in Parkville, MO, from January 2019 to July 2021. In her time at Park University, Jones launched the university’s first esports program and over the next couple years expanded the program with three additional teams. In the greater Kansas City area Jones created community and educational partnerships including serving as Vice Chair of the Kansas City Esports Coalition. Jones also held the title of Chair-Elect for the NACE Board of Directors prior to her employment in the National Office.

As the new Director of Membership Sales and Services, Jones will work with the NACE membership team to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and retention plan, manage the database of all contacts with current and prospective members, and utilize relevant data to drive appropriate initiatives and strategies. Jones will also be NACE’s primary representative for more than 200 colleges and universities.

“I am looking forward to leading the NACE National Office in the Director of Membership Sales and Services position,” said Jones. “Stepping into this role will give me the opportunity to promote collegiate esports programs, new and established, across North America. I am excited to join a great team and I feel that together, we will be able to serve our member institutions well. I intend to serve as a valuable resource to our member institutions as the best point of contact for any questions, ideas, or concerns they may have.”
