NACE Partners with STAY PLUGGED IN for Collegiate Esports Recruiting Opportunities

Stay Plugged In partners to provide student recruitment opportunities for NACE colleges and universities through online and in-person camps and showcases

Kansas City, MO –  October 4, 2022| The National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), the largest varsity collegiate esports association in the world, today announced a multi-year partnership with STAY PLUGGED IN (SPIN), a Charlotte-based esports recruiting platform geared towards helping esports athletes find college scholarships. 

“Collegiate esports is growing rapidly, but a great amount of work is still left to be done in order to support the ecosystem” said Michael Brooks, Executive Director of NACE.  “Our partnership with SPIN grows the opportunities for our member institutions and prospective students to connect in meaningful ways.  We look forward to working with SPIN to elevate the recruiting experience and scholarships for students throughout North America.”

The NACE and SPIN partnership will see them host  recruiting events for high school and transfer students seeking to attend NACE member institutions to play varsity esports.   

The organizations will work collaboratively on developing content to educate students and their families on the importance and value of NACE members esports programs while connecting students with scholarship opportunities that exist throughout NACE.  .

Through regularly scheduled online and live recruiting tournaments, we’ll ensure a clear pathway for students to attend NACE member institutions for varsity competition.”
