Position Title:         Head Esports Coach              Department: Esports
Reports To:           Andrew Morong                   Pay Status: $2,000 per team per academic year

Job responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting and retaining students for the Esports program
  • Conducting coaching and instruction activities during training, practice and competition
  • Coordinating off-season, practice and competition schedules
  • Assisting with team travel when necessary
  • Running camp, clinics, and promotional events
  • Ensuring team compliance with all league, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
  • Continuously ensuring personal behavior and program reputation are in alignment with Central Maine Community College values and brand

Need to have:

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, as well as to travel with sport teams for any face-to-face contests

Strong preference for those with:

  • Competitive video gaming experience
  • Experience recruiting high school and/or college students

  • Strong marketing/promotional skills
  • A self-starter
  • Ability to resolve issues independently
