St. Ambrose University invites applications for the position of Head Varsity Esports Coach, a full-time, 12-month position. Responsibilities include all aspects of organizing, administering, and developing a nationally recognized varsity Esports program to commence fall 2018. Other duties within the Athletic Department will be assigned according to qualifications/experience. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred; successful collegiate gaming and coaching experience preferred. Demonstrated success in scouting, talent assessment and recruitment of qualified student-athletes; monitoring of academic progress of team members, knowledge of and commitment to compliance with National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) rules, fund-raising and promotion of the Esports program within the community.
