NACE ‘21-22 Academic Year Competition Outline

League Format

League competition is persistent weekly competition culminating in a champion. League titles will be repeated in both the fall and the spring.

  • Separate fall and spring seasons each culminating in co-equal championships
  • Each Title has a designated week night for competition
  • Call of Duty will be input locked to controllers
  • Seeding will be based on average rank of players (taken at time of registration)
  • Championship Event held at Dreamhack Atlanta

Divisions:
The Competition Council is exploring running two separate divisions. In the Top Division, an institution can only field one team. In the Developmental Division, an institution can field as many teams as they desire. The Top Division will be regional single round-robin group stage play for the regular season, while the Developmental Division will be weekly swiss pairings in order to match teams of equal skill over time.
